Job Description

Forward Tampa Bay PAC is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Executive Director to provide executive support and leadership to the Chairman of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Provide counsel and support to the Chairman on matters related to FTB operations and initiatives.
  • Executive Management: Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for the Chairman, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Project and Initiative Oversight: Oversee key projects and initiatives on behalf of the Chairman, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Communications and Relationship Management: Manage communications on behalf of the Chairman, including drafting correspondence, speeches, and talking points.
  • Administrative Support: Coordinate administrative functions as they relate to FTB's operational needs, including budget management, procurement, and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in political science, public administration, or a related field (Advance degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in political advocacy, government relations, or executive support roles.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of political processes, campaign finance laws, and advocacy strategies; excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail; exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
