Chief Medical Officer - Florida

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to join our team at Get It Recruit Executive. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure that medical management staff utilizes sound clinical judgment in all decision-making processes.
  • Spearhead the formulation and execution of medical review and quality-related policies that uphold industry best practices.
  • Direct the education and training initiatives for staff and healthcare providers, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with the local medical community through regular consultations with healthcare providers.
  • Analyze case management data to uncover trends and identify gaps in care, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Address and resolve quality assurance issues while guiding the development of improvement processes.
  • Monitor performance indicators to guarantee that care delivery remains both cost-effective and of high quality.
  • Assess satisfaction levels of members and providers to implement strategic enhancements that improve overall experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish corporate clinical care standards and medical practice policies.
  • Offer expert medical guidance to the Medical Management department, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.
Qualifications:
  • A Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, with a preference for candidates possessing management experience.
  • Familiarity with Utilization Management and quality accreditation standards is advantageous.
  • Active engagement in clinical practice with demonstrable leadership experience in the local medical community.
  • Preferable coursework in Health Administration, Health Financing, Insurance, or Personnel Management.
  • Experience in delivering care to diverse populations is a plus.
  • Must hold board certification in a medical specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialists and possess a current state license as an MD or DO, free from restrictions or sanctions.
