A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in delivering support services that aid clients with personal care, mobility, and therapeutic needs, as determined by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker, or other healthcare professionals.

~ Demonstrated proficiency in executing necessary skills outlined in the care plan
~ Provision of healthcare tasks, personal hygiene services, and other essential support services critical to the client's health
~ Assisting educators in facilitating student learning and providing constructive feedback to students and supervisors/teachers (if applicable)
~ Potential involvement in supervising students during breaks and lunch periods, as well as accompanying students on community outings
~ Implementation of behavior management strategies as directed by the supervisor/healthcare practitioner; timely reporting of changes in client status as per care plan
~ Compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy regulations
~ Understanding of child development and growth
~ Ability to coordinate and facilitate services among home, school, local health agencies, and other community resources
~ Proficiency in the English language may be required
~ Computer skills are necessary
