Position Overview:
The Ingersoll Rand Finance Team is on the lookout for a Manufacturing Financial Leader to oversee our production facility.

Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the CSS Operations finance leader and collaborates closely with the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
As a leader, you will manage a team of finance professionals, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures while effectively allocating resources to tackle various challenges and opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication:
This position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Performance Measurement:
Your success will be evaluated by analyzing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and driving initiatives for revenue growth, margin enhancement, and optimization of net working capital through Ingersoll Rand's tools and processes.

Specific Duties:

  • Control Environment: Maintain robust financial controls in compliance with SOX narratives and collaborate with audit teams to identify and address potential gaps.
  • Asset Protection: Execute policies and fiduciary duties concerning all plant assets.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure timely delivery of financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and corporate policies.
  • Analytical Reporting: Provide insightful month-end reports that contextualize financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Corporate Liaison: Facilitate accurate and timely responses to inquiries from shared financial services.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the administration of accurate forecasts for plant operations.
  • Business Collaboration: Lead and participate in business processes aimed at achieving both tactical and strategic goals.
  • Talent Development: Create a work environment that aligns team efforts with corporate objectives while fostering personnel development and ensuring continuity of performance.

Qualifications:
We seek candidates with a proven ability to drive performance through teamwork, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of financial objectives.

Educational Background:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
An MBA, CMA, CFA, or CPA certification is advantageous. Experience with audits, SOX compliance, and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle is preferred. High proficiency in Excel and other business systems is essential.
