The ideal candidate will work closely with overseas vendors, buying, planning, merchandising, and photoshoot teams to ensure seamless product development and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sr. Product Development Manager in day-to-day tasks for pre-production and in-production projects.
  • Provide communication and follow-ups for development with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Track and update all incoming development samples and photoshoot samples.
  • Manage and organize physical samples, images, swatches, and materials for active and past seasons.
  • Compose vendor development emails to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain a tracker for sample order due dates.
  • Coordinate and ship sample packages to vendors, clients, and designers.
  • Maintain an organizational system for sample tracking and ongoing PD projects.
  • Maintain development files for easy access.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and update internal teams with any delays or pertinent information.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
