Job Description

VICI is a leading fashion destination for women's apparel, accessories, and footwear. As a Buying Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless execution of products from concept creation to sales launch online.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the buying team with product development, managing PO creation, maintenance, and vendor communication for all styles in specific categories. You will also be responsible for gathering product specs and sharing that information with cross-functional partners for successful online product launch.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize product development process, including gathering samples/submits for approval, external vendor communication, and internal communication with the buying team.
  • Create accurate POs for seasonal assortment and communicate POs to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Maintain correct item information, attribution, and delivery details for assigned categories.
  • Ensure all product attributions are uploaded and maintained correctly in Netsuite.
  • Launch pre-orders for chase POs and communicate cross-functionally to drive revenue.
  • Update weekly business review, quarterly hindsight, and quarterly pre-season investment review decks with data and images.
  • Gather specs for all products on-site and create monthly merch doc for debut assort.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in corporate retail preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with demonstrated proficiency working with large data sets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
Work Environment:
  • Works in an indoor/office environment.
  • Sits for long periods, standing and walking intermittently.
  • Uses office equipment such as computers, mice, etc.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 20 pounds and may have to manage hung samples.
Expected Hours of Work:
  • This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days in the office per week.
