Production Scheduler Job Description

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Production Scheduler to join our team in the San Fernando Valley, CA. As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for reviewing, entering, and verifying open sales orders, creating and reviewing work orders according to sales order demand, and identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, enter, and verify open sales orders.
  • Create and review work orders according to sales order demand.
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain dispatch list and production schedule.
  • Maintain daily metrics.
  • Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting assigned brands. Balance production and inventory levels with demand to support target consistent with 99% customer service levels, inventory turn goals, and capacity utilization requirements.
  • Reviews sales forecasts, open orders, backorders, and future-dated orders on a daily basis and adjusts production schedules accordingly.
  • Actively previews, communicates, and coordinates the production schedule with Operations to ensure effective and efficient manufacturing execution. Proactively resolves issues that might prevent schedules from being completed to plan.

This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity. Pay Rate: $25-40/hr. The ideal candidate will have Epicor Vista experience.
