Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Facility Support Specialist, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Arriving punctually for all scheduled shifts in the designated uniform, complete with nametags and a welcoming smile.
  • Utilizing the radio and assignment sheet to stay informed of daily tasks.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, including guest hallways, by removing trash and debris.
  • Assisting room attendants by collecting soiled linens and waste from guest rooms.
  • Inspecting the condition of sofa beds and ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Conducting thorough cleaning of corridors, including vacuuming and dusting.
  • Responding promptly to guest requests and delivering items efficiently.
  • Ensuring the security of hotel property by keeping doors locked.
  • Addressing guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Completing special assignments such as deep cleaning tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of six months of experience in housekeeping or janitorial services.
  • Basic knowledge of operating communication devices.
  • The ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Basic understanding of English.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols is preferred.

Physical Requirements

The role requires:

  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Occasional sitting, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Mobility to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.

Work Environment
