Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for registering patients, verifying insurance information, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients and obtain necessary demographic, financial, and clinical information
  • Verify insurance information and obtain authorization and/or referrals as required
  • Screen for and process non-covered services and waiver of liability (ABN) through automated screening
  • Collect patient payments and provide accurate receipts
  • Document patient account notes for all interactions/transactions
  • Maintain departmental and/or individual work queues and reports as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, required
  • At least one (1) year of experience in the hospitality or service industry, preferred
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to interact with others effectively, operate computers and other office equipment, and remain sitting or standing for long periods of time.
