Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance, and contact information, and assist with completing necessary forms.
  • Efficiently update and manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with other care teams and employees to provide seamless patient care.
  • Process payments and handle financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
  • Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or medical office setting.
  • Problem-solving ability, analytical skills, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment

This role is based in Park City, Utah, and requires the ability to interact with others, operate computers and office equipment, and remain sitting or standing for long periods of time.
