Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control inspections during the manufacture of orthopedic medical devices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Compile and maintain manufacturing/quality records, including inspection reports and test results.
  • Inspect and handle materials, parts, and products at different stages of production, ensuring that they meet quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate and interact with suppliers, as needed, to ensure that materials and components meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Company.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ASQ Certification as a Quality Inspector preferred.
  • Medical Device Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to the FDA's Quality System Regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and POs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform a variety of simultaneous tasks.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
  • Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arm, and talk or hear.
  • The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
