Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Streamline processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Capital Management: Assess investment opportunities, manage capital allocation, and evaluate ROI on various projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to make informed resource allocation decisions.
  • Financial Technology Integration: Stay updated on advancements in financial technology. Identify opportunities to implement systems and tools that enhance financial processes, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, parent company finance teams, auditors, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Build strong relationships to ensure financial objectives are met and compliance is upheld.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting and government financial regulations such as CAS and GAAP is essential.
  • Experience with DCMA/DCAA requirements and the preparation and review of relevant documentation.
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, utilizing tools such as ERP systems, Advanced Excel, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and financial modeling software.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop a finance team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently, managing diverse tasks with a sense of urgency and precision.
