MEIKO USA, Inc is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a reliable individual who can work independently and collaboratively with others. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate electric stand-up reach lift (4,500 lb.) and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment by marking and placing them on racks or pallets.
- Ensure orders are properly packaged, wrapped, or labeled.
- Load and unload trucks, and prepare loads for delivery.
- Utilize computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, to manage inventory and shipping.
- Have knowledge of FedEx Shipping Manager and Computer Warehouse Management System.
- Receive goods, inspect boxes to ensure completeness and integrity.
- Monitor inventory levels at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse operations.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Good attendance, personal hygiene, and ability to remain calm in a medium-paced work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand for long periods, and lift, push, or pull objects up to 100 pounds.
Additional Requirements:
- Pass a criminal background check and a basic medical physical.
- Be a self-starter who is eager to grow with the company.
