This full-time position entails a commitment of 40 hours per week, focusing on the efficient management of the branch warehouse. The Warehouse Operations Specialist is tasked with ensuring the seamless operation of warehouse activities, which includes the loading and unloading of trailers and commercial vehicles, as well as handling waste containers of various sizes and weights using approved material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and engage in safe work practices that align with all safety guidelines.
- Execute loading and unloading procedures for box trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and office environment.
- Manage the movement of trucks within company premises.
- Conduct inventory management tasks.
- Comply with all corporate policies and standards, including environmental regulations and operational protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Standards:
- Adherence to standards regarding seat belt and cell phone violations.
- No excessive speeding incidents.
- Clean record concerning DUI, suspension, or multiple vehicle collisions.
Physical Demands:
- Regular lifting of materials weighing between 54-80 lbs.
- Frequent pushing and pulling of 16–55-gallon drums of waste/product using approved equipment.
- Drum weights may vary and can exceed 400 lbs.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of a physical examination, including drug and alcohol screening.
- A background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
