Job Title: Aviation Repair Technician

CTL Aerospace is a leading provider of aerospace services, and we are seeking a skilled Aviation Repair Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our repair division. As an Aviation Repair Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various hand tools and equipment to perform repairs on aircraft metal and composite components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate hand tools and equipment to perform repairs on aircraft metal and composite components.
  • Perform composite repairs, including adhesive application, curing, painting, and finishing of carbon fiber and fiberglass components.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Read and interpret repair procedures and understand basic dimensioning and tolerances.
  • Translate repair instructions into action and multitask in different areas.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Aircraft composite or sheet metal experience.
  • Previous military or aviation experience or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license a plus.
  • Automotive body finishing and/or painting experience a plus.
  • Industrial trade school training in automotive or aircraft-related fields a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
