CTL Aerospace is a leading provider of composite manufacturing services to the aerospace industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Repair QC Inspector to join our team at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality control, with experience in setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting tests, and interpreting results. They will also have excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Conduct NDT tests and inspections on composite structures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Interpret and evaluate test results, documenting findings and recommendations for corrective action
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and processes to ensure consistency and accuracy
- ASNT Trained NDT FPI & UT Technician certification
- Minimum 40 hours of documented classroom training in NDT
- Minimum 400 hours of practical hands-on experience in NDT
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
