ROLE OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibilities of this position encompass physical tasks, including the handling of freight, equipment, and materials, as well as ensuring a tidy work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage in physical activities that necessitate significant use of arms and legs, involving actions such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending, and handling materials.
  • Utilize hands and arms for handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, as well as manipulating objects.
  • Transport materials, equipment, or supplies as required.
  • Receive directives or instructions for executing work assignments.
  • Examine work orders or schedules to ascertain operations or procedures.
  • Modify, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other components, using hand or power tools.
  • Construct and maintain physical structures, employing hand or power tools.
  • Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other designated areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capability to comprehend written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions effectively.
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Competence in safely operating cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Capacity to lift, push/pull, and handle heavy objects weighing up to 55 pounds.

SUPERVISION:
This role involves receiving formal supervision. Independent task completion is expected.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The primary duties of this position are conducted in both indoor and outdoor settings, involving physical labor.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services maintains a Drug-Free Workplace Policy, which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug test.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
