Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team at WK Kellogg Co. As an Electrical Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining industrial equipment, troubleshooting PLCs, and collaborating with other skilled trade individuals to ensure the efficient operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Program and troubleshoot HMI graphical interfaces and PLCs, calibrate weigh scale systems, load cells, and loss of weight feeders.
  • Prioritizing Innovation and Communication: Actively seek ways to improve plant efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities, maintaining an open dialogue with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding day-to-day activities.
  • Partner and Collaborate with Team: Work with others on your team to identify best practices, solutions, and techniques in solving plant breakdowns or troubleshooting needs.
Requirements
  • 5 years of Industrial Maintenance Electrical/Instrument Repair experience or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • PLC experience.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and/or perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.
