Key Responsibilities

Assist in the efficient provision of supplies and equipment, adhering to applicable standards and regulations to ensure the highest quality of resident care.

  • Utilize inventory tracking logs to monitor equipment within the facility.
  • Process requisitions for routine supplies and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Maintain proper organization and condition of supplies and equipment.
  • Oversee storage and distribution of supplies in compliance with policies.
  • Update inventory records as necessary when receiving or issuing supplies.
  • Confirm all telephone orders and correspondence.
  • Ensure departments are charged appropriately for received supplies.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Previous experience in an office or clerical role is preferred, along with familiarity with medical terminology.

Standard and routine decisions are made based on detailed guidelines, with issues typically resolved through established procedures or by consulting a supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills

Basic skills to follow written or verbal instructions, along with fundamental technical abilities to perform repetitive tasks. A basic understanding of the organization is necessary to address general inquiries.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
