About the Organization

The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project was founded to tackle the urgent need for representation among indigent non-citizens detained in Arizona. Our mission is to provide comprehensive legal and social services to those in detention, advocating for meaningful changes in immigration law and policy.

Job Overview:

The People & Culture Recruiter is tasked with sourcing exceptional talent for our organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to enhance recruitment strategies, engaging in recruitment activities, conducting candidate interviews, and more.

  • Formulate innovative sourcing strategies to attract potential candidates.
  • Engage in various recruitment events to promote job opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Create recruitment materials to effectively attract candidates.
  • Establish and maintain candidate networks for current and future openings.
  • Serve as a primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in sourcing and recruitment.
  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Dedication to the organization's mission and commitment to diversity.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with MS365 office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP or SPH certification.
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Relevant certifications in recruitment.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a professional office setting. The role may require occasional walking, standing, bending, and lifting, as well as the use of standard office equipment. Some travel between office locations may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary. Benefits include medical coverage, short-term disability, retirement plans, paid time off, sabbaticals, bereavement leave, organization-paid holidays, parental leave, mileage reimbursement, and relocation assistance for certain positions.
