Position: Agricultural Risk Management Specialist
The Oilseed Risk Management team is composed of a dedicated group of professionals who focus on mitigating risks associated with the oilseed market. Our team operates with a dual location strategy, ensuring comprehensive coverage and expertise. We engage in three primary functions: executing hedges for our global trading operations, providing strategic risk management advice, and optimizing hedging strategies through our extensive trading network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute hedging strategies for the oilseed sector, ensuring optimal risk management for our trading operations.
- Provide insights and execute strategies related to options, futures, and spread trading to effectively manage risk.
- Analyze and optimize hedging positions by leveraging internal market information.
- Proven experience in agricultural markets, with a preference for commercial exposure in physical trading.
- Strong understanding of derivatives trading, particularly within agricultural markets.
- Willingness to relocate as necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on supply and demand dynamics.
- Oversee daily order flow, determining optimal hedging strategies and executing trades on commodity exchanges.
- Manage and assess daily trading positions.
- Contribute to discussions on risk management strategies, including intra-commodity spreads and options for hedging.
- Engage in market analysis, formulating opinions based on both technical and fundamental insights.
