Global Treasury Operations Manager Role

Buckingham Search is seeking a Global Treasury Operations Manager to lead and enhance treasury functions, internal governance, policies, and procedures on a worldwide scale. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing foreign exchange risk, partnering with various business units to mitigate financial exposure, and managing funding and hedging initiatives. This role will also involve supporting the management of Global Cash.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and recommend improvements for global treasury operations and cash management strategies
  • Work closely with finance and other departments to optimize working capital
  • Design and execute treasury policies and procedures, offering training to staff
  • Drive automation initiatives within treasury functions and system workflows
  • Evaluate and manage foreign exchange and commodities risk, formulating mitigation plans
  • Oversee hedging strategies for external clients while ensuring adherence to internal governance
  • Support daily cash management and liaise with banking partners for cash operations
  • Participate in strategic reviews with senior leadership regarding global cash flow and debt management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, or CFA certification
  • A minimum of 6 years of international treasury experience, particularly in managing foreign exchange risks
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging across diverse cultures
  • Experience collaborating with senior management and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
