Wafer Fabrication Etch Processes Section Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Wafer Fabrication Etch Processes Section Lead to join our semiconductor foundry engineering leadership team within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of microelectronics processing techniques and experience in leading direct reports responsible for maintaining and improving the wafer foundry's dry etch and wet etch chemical processes.
Key Responsibilities- Direct a team of skilled process engineers to fabricate advanced microelectronic devices in accordance with various technology roadmaps in support of Raytheon business pursuits.
- Review process changes, identify and champion process improvement opportunities, work to improve process yields, and interface with operations management.
- Review and oversee project schedules and costs.
- Facilitate the effective allocation of team resources in ways to support the oversight of the foundry processes, assist in identifying future capital investment needs, and foster open communication between functional teams.
- Work with the department manager on manpower and resource planning, controlling overhead costs, developing and delivering employee performance reviews, and developing/reviewing proposals.
- Support management at the department, directorate, and functional leadership levels.
- Typically a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior work experience OR a Master's in STEM and 5 years of prior work experience OR a PhD in STEM and 3 years of prior work experience.
- Experience in semiconductor processing or process integration.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
