Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory by collecting and processing blood samples for testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and finger stick techniques
  • Process and prepare blood samples for laboratory testing
  • Maintain accurate records of blood sample collection and processing
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure timely and accurate blood sample collection
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy training or certification preferred
  • Current EMT or State of Florida LPN License preferred
  • BLS Certification required
  • One year phlebotomy experience preferred
