Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to provide clinical support to patients in our physician practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to patients under the supervision of the physician
  • Ensure continuity and appropriate care to patients
  • Operate or learn to operate medical equipment, including pulse oximeters, EKG machines, and nebulizers
  • Perform and document lab results, including phlebotomy and basic lab equipment operation
  • Triage incoming clinical phone calls and messages from patients
  • Maintain proper inventory of medical supplies
Requirements
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state) required
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
