Position Overview:
This role is designed for individuals who are committed to enhancing the efficiency of the MRI department while ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate effectively with MRI technologists to provide essential support for the department.
2. Ensure the safe transport and transfer of patients to and from the MRI suite.
3. Maintain a clean and organized scanning environment by preparing the room between patient appointments, which includes sanitizing equipment, changing linens, and setting up necessary tools for upcoming exams.
4. Offer comprehensive clerical assistance to technologists, including:
    a. Answering phone inquiries
    b. Verifying patient demographic and MRI screening information
    c. Collecting prior medical testing information as required.
5. Undertake various tasks to uphold an organized and efficient department.

Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience in patient care within a healthcare setting is required.
- An associate degree or certification in a relevant field, or three years of experience in a similar patient care environment is necessary.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of healthcare experience is essential.
- Experience in a Medical Imaging department is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly McKesson Paragon and online digital imaging systems (PACS), is advantageous.

Compensation:
- Pay Range: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
