Position Overview: As a pivotal member of our team, you will oversee the technical assessment of aircraft and engines during acquisition and transition phases. Your role will involve conducting thorough inspections and audits of our portfolio, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance, modifications, and storage of flight equipment.

• Conduct technical inspections and audits to verify compliance with OEM specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee lease transitions, returns, and deliveries.

• Assist in drafting technical documents for Letters of Intent, Leases, Sales Purchase Agreements, and General Terms Agreements.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and maintain communication with relevant agencies.

• Uphold quality control measures to guarantee safety and procedural integrity.

• Leverage global resources to optimize maintenance and transportation costs.

• Foster a culture of professionalism, transparency, and continuous improvement.

• Enforce company policies and best practices in safety and operational excellence.

• Plan and coordinate all technical operations, including pre-purchase inspections and ferry flights.

• Analyze regulatory updates for their impact on our fleet.

• Develop work scopes for maintenance checks and modifications based on OEM guidelines.

• Maintain accurate records of aircraft status and compliance.

• Collaborate with the Records Department to ensure conformity for leasing and purchasing activities.

• Conduct detailed inspections and evaluations for due diligence in leasing or purchasing decisions.

• Create cost accounting models and progress reports for assigned projects.

• Ensure compliance with contracts and regulations across various operational facets.

• Coordinate with management and other business units as necessary.

• Provide updates on project status and manage documentation and inspections.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding contracts and proposals.

• Develop and implement plans for contract execution and budget management.

• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, securing management approval for significant decisions.

• Engage with regulatory representatives for technical support and equipment delivery.

Qualifications:

• Preferred FAA Airframe or Powerplant license with a minimum of five years of extensive aircraft maintenance experience.

• Adequate formal education and experience to fulfill the responsibilities outlined.

Skills Required:

• In-depth knowledge of FAR requirements related to aircraft airworthiness.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.

• High level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

• Familiarity with leasing and maintenance contracts, as well as valuation processes.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods.

• Proficient in repetitive hand and arm movements for typing.

• Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
