About the role:
Come and experience the thrill of working in a luxury hotel environment. Our Resort is situated at the front door of a history-rich village, steeped in pioneering spirit and untamed refinement, with legendary Vail Mountain just steps away. We are excited to launch the collaboration of Four Seasons and Frasca Hospitality Group to create Tavernetta Vail. Frasca Hospitality Group, led by Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson, Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, and Peter Hoglund, is dedicated to providing warm and gracious hospitality.

The main responsibility of this role is to serve guest needs by providing expert knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drinks, as well as information regarding preparation methods. The Bartender is responsible for assisting with product inventory, bar supplies, and objectives that managers set for the bar.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional quality service to our guests by serving drinks and offering expert knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drinks.
  • Assist with product inventory, bar supplies, and objectives that managers set for the bar.
  • Follow bar P&Ps and daily checklists.
  • Handle any requests in a courteous and efficient manner, following up to ensure the guest is aware of the follow-up.
  • Ensure that each guest is greeted promptly and courteously with eye contact and a smile.
Requirements:
  • One or more years of bartending experience, preferable within a luxury hotel and/or high-end bar environment.
  • Working knowledge of Micros POS system is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and personal presentation skills.
  • Guest-focused mentality and understanding the importance of guest's preferences.
  • The ideal candidate will have a confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
  • Position requires continuous standing for 8 or more hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.

Schedule & Hours:
  • This is a full-time position.
  • A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
