Job Description

Reservations Team Lead

Vail Resorts is seeking a highly skilled Reservations Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for blocking all rooms prior to arrival, maintaining and ensuring accurate inventory availability.

This role requires a strong understanding of hotel operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage room inventory to maximize occupancy and room revenue
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel information, local attractions, and services
  • Communicate effectively with front desk staff and other departments
  • Perform arrivals and duplicate reservation checks
  • Inventory balancing in MARSHA and Lightspeed systems

Requirements:

  • One year customer service experience
  • Internet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word experience
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in Spanish or other languages
  • Marriott Front Desk experience
  • Experience with LightSpeed, MARSHA, Outlook, or EMPOWER GXP systems
