Network Security Architect

About the Role: We're seeking a highly skilled Network Security Architect to design, configure, and maintain secure network infrastructure for our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networks, and load balancers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure network architecture to protect against cyber threats
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Deploy and manage secure cloud-based networks on AWS and Azure
  • Automate network configuration and deployment using tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to develop and implement automation scripts
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of our network standards and policies
  • Participate in incident response and problem-solving efforts to resolve network-related issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in network engineering and security
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP
  • Experience with firewall configuration, including Palo Alto and Cisco
  • Knowledge of cloud-based networking technologies, including AWS and Azure
  • Familiarity with automation tools, including Ansible and Terraform
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies

Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience
