About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect Lead to join our team at Akamai. As a key member of our Product Architecture team, you will drive innovative solutions for our rapidly growing Cloud networking products. You will help shape the next generation of our Cloud networking products and platforms.

  • ">
  • Demonstrate architectural leadership by owning end-to-end product designs, including provisioning, billing, monitoring, scaling, etc.">
  • Guide the evolution of our cloud networking products using deep knowledge of the business and associated technology.">
  • Engage cross-functionally to translate requirements into functional designs.">
  • Socialize and build consensus around architectural decisions to provide stable and secure products.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will:

">
  • ">
  • Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.">
  • Be able to command a broad understanding of cloud networking.">
  • Have good coding and scripting skills for data analysis, proof of concepts, etc.">
  • Possess knowledge in internet and cloud technologies such as BGP, VPC, HTTP, TLS, Cloud Security, Kubernetes, compliance.">
  • Have the aptitude to work on large-scale, distributed, cloud compute networks and clearly articulate solutions to complex problems.">
  • Be very comfortable engaging senior technical SMEs across the organization to represent the products you are responsible for.">

Akamai offers a competitive salary range of $148,200 - $307,800/year, with opportunities for annual bonuses, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
