Network Security Engineer Role Summary
Forrester seeks a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and virtualization technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for network security. As a Network Security Engineer at Forrester, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure network architecture, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Implement and maintain network security devices and software, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure the security of cloud-based networks and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and security policies.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network security incidents.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in network security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and virtualization technologies, including AWS and Azure.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, including segmentation, access control, and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
