We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiologic images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and documents to PACS.
- Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and equipment.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program certification in General Practice.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
