About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exam is performed on the correct patient.
  • Prepare patients and area for procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified position.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
  • Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification.
  • Ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Ability to explain the procedure and put patients at ease.
  • Ability to provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner in compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
