Shift: 8 HR Days (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 5
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $25 - $36
Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Orthopedic Clinic. In this full-time role, you will perform high-quality radiology procedures to support patient care. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain the radiology equipment and work area.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality radiology procedures following established exam protocols.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of imaging procedures, maintaining production quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining the procedure and assessing their ability to tolerate the exam.
- Position patients and equipment, adjust controls to set appropriate exposure factors, and ensure optimal imaging results.
- Protect patients and staff by adhering to safety, infection control, and radiation protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the equipment and work area, reporting any issues to management.
- Handle and verify all relevant patient documentation and maintain accurate medical imaging records.
- Provide excellent customer service by limiting wait times and ensuring a professional, courteous environment.
- ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently without routine oversight.
- Ability to maintain composure under stress and resolve issues professionally.
- First aid knowledge and ability to use emergency equipment as needed.
