As a Licensing Administration Specialist, your role will involve delivering comprehensive contract management services within our synchronization licensing administration team. This position will manage mid-level television, film, and other related synchronization and master use licenses.

This role is based in Nashville and reports directly to the Director of Contract Administration, forming an integral part of Concord's Licensing Administration Team. You will operate under moderate supervision.


Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and issuing various licenses, focusing on synchronization and master use licensing agreements for both Concord's recorded music and publishing sectors, based on negotiated terms.
  • Coordinating with senior contract administration personnel and the legal department as necessary regarding language and legal inquiries.
  • Responding to, negotiating, and resolving redlines in collaboration with senior Licensing Administration staff.
  • Generating and issuing invoices for licensing agreements.
  • Serving as the internal point of contact for Docusign implementation and assisting in the development and maintenance of licensing templates within Docusign.
  • Following up on partially executed licenses and outstanding invoices.
  • Overseeing all aspects of document delivery.
  • Maintaining ownership and accountability for deals once confirmed.
  • Performing any additional duties and tasks related to the department's responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in licensing and/or contract administration, preferably within the music or entertainment sectors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to synthesize large volumes of information and troubleshoot effectively.
  • A general understanding of music clearance and licensing concepts, along with copyright principles as they pertain to musical recordings, compositions, and artwork.
  • Proficiency in various software applications, including FileMaker Pro, Docusign, SalesForce, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • The capacity to handle and protect highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritizing effectively while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • The capability to establish and maintain vital external relationships with clients.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days on-site.
