Claims Auditing and Training Specialist

As a key member of our Claims team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall quality of Casualty claims handling in assigned states. Your expertise will be instrumental in analyzing and directing major losses to a cost-effective resolution.
Responsibilities:- Conduct claims performance or quality/audit reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Measure performance opportunities through file/reinspection processes, calibration processes, and/or audit processes.
- Develop and implement action plans to address identified deficiencies and share best practices.
- Communicate audit findings and recommend solutions to continuous process improvement with various levels of claims management.
- Provide coaching and direction to field claims staff, assessing individual and group training needs, and facilitating training programs.
- Communicate and train staff on case law and legislative changes that impact claims handling.
Demonstrate commitment to our Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards, and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.
Requirements:- 5+ years of Casualty claims handling experience; multiple jurisdictional expertise preferred.
- Adjuster license strongly preferred.
- Prior TPA experience required, and additional Insurance company experience is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Commercial Auto, Property, Professional, and General Liability claims law is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and teamwork skills are essential.
- Previous supervisor/management experience is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; professional designations (CPCU, AIC, etc.) are a plus.
- Ability to travel for business purposes, approximately less than 15%.
