Measurement and Evaluation Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assessment Specialist I to join our team at Educational Testing Service (ETS). To succeed in this role, you should have a Master's degree in a field of specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must have a minimum of 3 years of increasingly responsible professional experience, which may include teaching at the middle school, high school, and/or college level; writing; editing; and/or developing assessments. Classroom experience and familiarity with current subject-area standards are desirable. You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to apply rules of grammar, etc., to the development of materials in the content area. Well-developed organizational skills, strong technical skills, and a willingness/adeptness with regards to learning new technology are also required. Proficient use of MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe PDF is necessary. Physical Science expertise with a broad science background and the ability to also work with life and earth science content at the K-12 level are required. Familiarity with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) is also desired.
