About the Role
The Senior Accountant, Financial Operations Analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information for year-end reporting, reviewing financials of investment companies for SEC, GAAP, or IFRS compliance, identifying and interpreting financial and operational risk, and evaluating the appropriateness of valuation methodologies and conclusions. Additionally, the successful candidate will perform month-end closing procedures, ensure investment valuations are calculated according to global accounting standards, and continually improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and analyze financial information for year-end reporting.
  • Review financials of investment companies for SEC, GAAP, or IFRS compliance.
  • Identify and interpret financial and operational risk.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of valuation methodologies and conclusions.
  • Perform month-end closing procedures.
  • Ensure investment valuations are calculated according to global accounting standards.
  • Continually improve operational efficiency.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have a BA in accounting or finance, 1-3 years of previous experience in an accounting role, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relational database management, and comfort with automation and workflow improvements. A CPA or CFA certification is a plus.

Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
