**Job Title:** Assessment Development Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Assessment Development Specialist to join our team at the Educational Testing Service (ETS). This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in assessment development, educational measurement, and testing.
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant field, such as education or psychology, and at least 9 years of experience in test development, with a minimum of 7 years in educational measurement. They will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and evaluation of assessments, as well as providing guidance and training to less experienced staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to meet client needs
- Lead content development activities, including item writing, review, and evaluation
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop high-quality assessments
- Provide leadership in the design and development of new assessments and innovative products
- Maintain expertise in educational measurement and testing principles
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education or psychology
- At least 9 years of experience in test development, with a minimum of 7 years in educational measurement
- Strong knowledge of educational measurement and testing principles
- Excellent communication and project management skills
