As a Branch Director - Hospice, you'll play a vital role in leading our team of compassionate healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to those who need it most.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the financial performance of branches, ensuring effective budgeting and accounting systems that promote patient health and safety.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Ensure compliance with current Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations, identifying and reporting potential payment/coverage issues.
- Supervise and coordinate utilization review activities, participating in strategic development of Key Accounts.
- Maintain accurate public information, materials, and activities, ensuring availability by phone as directed by company policy or regulatory requirement.
- Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled, identifying needs for changes in program and services, and developing proposals for consideration by Area Vice President or other supervisors.
- Investigate complaints and problems, ensuring problem resolution and correction of deficiencies, and reporting results to the Area Vice President.
- 5+ years of Hospice experience.
- RN license in the state of operations, current and unrestricted.
- Previous leadership/management experience within a Home Health/Hospice environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Previous experience with Homecare HomeBase is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations, financials, and work within a matrixed environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field is preferred.
