Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Director - Hospice to join our team. As a Branch Director - Hospice, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of branches within your provider number, implementing effective budgeting and accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with current Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial performance of branches within your provider number
  • Implement effective budgeting and accounting systems
  • Ensure compliance with current Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations
  • Supervise and coordinate utilization review activities
  • Participate in strategic development of Key Accounts
  • Ensure accuracy of all public information, materials, and activities
  • Maintain availability by phone as directed by company policy or regulatory requirement
  • Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
  • Identify need for changes in program and services, develop proposals for consideration by Area Vice President or other supervisors, as appropriate
  • Investigate complaints and problems, ensure problem resolution and correction of deficiencies, and report results to the Area Vice President
Requirements
  • 5+ years Hospice experience
  • RN license in state of operations that is current and unrestricted
  • Previous leadership/management experience within a Home Health/Hospice environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Previous experience with Homecare HomeBase is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations, financials, and work within a matrixed environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field is preferred
