Renewable Properties is in search of a skilled Asset Manager to effectively engage in the financing and oversight of the Company's solar initiatives throughout the United States. The selected candidate will deliver analytical and procedural support across the solar project lifecycle. Responsibilities will include transaction analysis, contract oversight and negotiation, portfolio reporting, performance evaluation, regulatory submissions, maintenance strategies, and various asset management tasks. This position offers a unique chance to significantly contribute to Renewable Properties' growth during a pivotal time in a dynamic and influential sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the asset management from both financial and operational viewpoints for a portfolio of active solar projects, with potential future involvement in storage and electric vehicle charging assets.
  • Enhance financial and operational metrics to maximize the value of active assets.
  • Collaborate with energy offtakers to optimize the distribution of operating revenues.
  • Manage ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) and warranty relationships for projects.
  • Optimize asset performance and spearhead performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Establish processes, frameworks, and deliverables to support the management and reporting of operational assets, including the preparation of performance summary reports for financing stakeholders.
  • Generate detailed project, fund, and fleet-level reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate solutions to complex operational challenges, collaborating with team members to derive lessons learned and enhance future projects.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of project budgets, financial models, profit and loss statements, and contract modifications.
  • Ensure portfolio performance meets or exceeds forecasted production by reviewing performance reports and collaborating with O&M providers to investigate issues and initiatives for performance improvement.
  • Compile financial statements and collaborate with accounting and finance teams.
  • Support the selection of third-party service providers and the negotiation of contracts.
  • Explore innovative methods to enhance fleet performance through new technologies, initiatives, and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management, business management, contract negotiation and management, or operational roles within the Solar PV or Renewable Energy sector.
  • Strong attention to detail, pride in work output, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in analyzing financial reports and providing in-depth analysis, with familiarity in industry-standard solar project agreements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, with a passion for advancing the renewable energy sector.
  • Ability to analyze solar asset performance data and suggest improvements in processes, equipment, reporting, and management.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on process enhancement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
