Customer Service Representative

Randstad is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic call center team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care support to patients, helping them schedule appointments and resolve any issues they may have.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations based on scripts and guidelines
  • Place calls for appointment reminders and collect care-specific information
  • Route incoming calls and forward complex inquiries to appropriate personnel
  • Manage electronic in-basket systems and assist patients with facility information
  • Verify insurance eligibility, update demographic data, and explain co-pays
  • Collect past-due balances and refer patients to financial counselors
  • Coordinate the referral process, track specialty care referrals, and request test results
  • Collect and organize data, generate reports, and update departmental policies and forms

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications
