Job Summary

The Reserves Network Inc is seeking a skilled Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician I to join their team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment, driving commercial motor vehicles, and performing daily maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Operate vacuum trucks and related tools and equipment, including jackhammers, pogo-tampers, concrete saws, compressor blowers, vacuum hoses, air lances, and hand tools.
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive commercial motor vehicles as needed for work assignments.
  • Record-Keeping: Complete paperwork accurately, including record-keeping and basic mathematics.
  • Maintenance: Perform daily basic maintenance on vehicles.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of vehicles, work sites, and equipment.
  • Traffic Management: Set up maintenance of traffic as directed.
  • Field Measurements: Make basic field measurements.
  • Geophysical Prospecting: Perform simple geophysical prospecting as instructed.
  • Additional Duties: Handle other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of operating specialized equipment related to subsurface utility engineering.
  • Safety Compliance: Understanding of safety compliance and regulations.
  • Record-Keeping: Familiarity with record-keeping and basic mathematics.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Proficiency in operating vacuum trucks and related tools/equipment.
  • Vehicle Operation: Ability to drive commercial motor vehicles.
  • Maintenance Skills: Competence in completing paperwork and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Cleanliness: Skill in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Traffic Management: Capability to set up maintenance of traffic and make field measurements.
  • Geophysical Prospecting: Aptitude for performing simple geophysical prospecting.
  • Experience: Experience in vacuum excavation tasks and supporting overall crew activities related to subsurface utility engineering is preferred.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification: Additional training or certification related to the field is beneficial.
