Job Overview

Workforce Solutions, LLC collaborates with prominent small to mid-sized CPA firms throughout the United States to connect them with exceptional talent in the public accounting sector. We are currently assisting a rapidly expanding CPA firm to identify audit professionals to enhance their team.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Audit Senior, you will oversee client relationships while conducting audits of financial statements to ensure compliance with established accounting principles and standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating client financial documents to uncover potential accounting discrepancies and conducting research to propose effective solutions.
  • Providing training, guidance, and leadership to team members in audit methodologies.
  • Developing new client relationships and fortifying existing ones while demonstrating a solid understanding of their business operations.
  • Engaging with clients as needed; offering insights to assist with their financial or tax-related inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity within a public accounting environment.
  • Extensive experience with government and non-profit audits is advantageous; minimal exposure to construction audits.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is highly preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • CPA certification is strongly preferred or the capability to obtain it.

Work Schedule:

Your schedule will typically follow a Monday to Friday routine from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing flexibility for personal interests or family commitments, provided business requirements are met. During peak periods, audit team members may experience some 50-hour work weeks, but you will earn compensatory time for hours worked beyond 40 in a week, which can be utilized as additional PTO.
