Job Overview

Workforce Solutions, LLC collaborates with prominent small to mid-sized CPA firms throughout the United States to connect them with exceptional talent in the public accounting sector. We are currently seeking audit professionals to enhance the team at a rapidly expanding CPA firm.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Audit Senior, you will oversee client engagements while ensuring compliance with established accounting principles and standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating client financial statements to uncover potential discrepancies and conducting thorough research to propose effective solutions.
  • Providing guidance, training, and oversight to junior team members in audit methodologies.
  • Fostering new and nurturing existing client relationships while demonstrating a solid understanding of their business operations.
  • Engaging with clients as needed; offering insights to assist with their financial or tax-related inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity within a public accounting environment.
  • Extensive experience with audits for government and non-profit entities is advantageous; minimal exposure to construction audits.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • CPA certification is highly regarded or the ability to obtain it.

Work Schedule:

Typically, you can adjust the standard Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM schedule to accommodate personal interests or family commitments, provided business requirements are met. Audit team members may experience peak periods with 50-hour work weeks, but will benefit from compensatory time off for hours worked beyond 40 in a week.
