Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a culture centered around Teamwork, Execution, and Enjoyment. Responsibilities include engaging in daily operations while maintaining a balanced approach. Being a visible presence at the host stand to ensure customers feel welcomed and valued. We are in search of passionate hospitality professionals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience with OpenTable
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively
- A collaborative team player with an optimistic outlook
- Maintains composure and respect under pressure
- Utilizes tact and sound judgment when addressing guest concerns, responding with patience and courtesy
- Organized and efficient, capable of keeping a tidy work environment
- Possesses a strong sense of hospitality and understands its significance to our business
- Contributes to building a loyal customer base and supports community outreach initiatives
- Maintains a warm and inviting presence at the host stand
Additional Responsibilities:
- Available to assist as needed to ensure the seamless operation of the restaurant as directed by management.
- Adheres to health and food safety standards, including restocking and cleaning duties.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours as required.
- Must be capable of exerting well-paced and frequent mobility for extended periods.
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, carrying, and data entry may be required.
- Ability to work in both warm and cool environments.
- Availability for morning, mid, and evening shifts, including weekends.
- Exposure to high noise levels from music and customer traffic.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens such as peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.
Qualifications, Education & Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a full-service, high-volume environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently while adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Active engagement in social media.
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends.
- Ability to maintain a consistent schedule of at least 4 days per week.
