Job Title: PV Solar Field Technician II

NextEra Energy, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled PV Solar Field Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our Power Generation Division, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, and AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily inspections of solar arrays and inverters to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Conduct electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain all tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition.
  • Provide inspection and maintenance services for solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, and AC/DC inverters.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to ensure the perfect execution of PGD processes.
Requirements:
  • High School Grad/GED
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
  • Preferred qualifications include trade school graduate, licensed electrician, licensed master electrician, and Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
