We are currently in search of a committed and detail-oriented Guest Room Specialist to enhance our team at our newly launched hotel facility.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift medium weights, occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds, and frequently or constantly exerting up to 30 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, or move items.
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, and navigate stairs.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts is necessary.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure friendly, attentive, and service-oriented interactions with all guests and team members.
  • Ability to actively listen and address concerns raised by management and guests.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills to meet departmental objectives.
  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance as per the hotel's scheduling requirements.
  • Adhere to high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the designated uniform and nametag.
  • Comply with company standards to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean guest rooms in accordance with company standards.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for housekeeping cart setup.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and corridors.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order in hallways, public areas, and storage spaces by regularly cleaning, tidying, and vacuuming.
  • Restock housekeeping carts for subsequent use.
  • Refill cleaning chemical containers and ensure proper labeling.
  • Report any missing items from guest rooms to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Promptly report maintenance issues to management using the appropriate reporting system.
  • Handle lost and found items in accordance with company policies.
  • Always exhibit attentiveness, friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy towards all guests, managers, and fellow staff members.

Guest Experience:

  • Respect guest privacy and adhere to established company protocols when entering guest rooms.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, in line with company standards.
  • Promptly and responsibly address immediate guest requests.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Follow company safety and security policies and procedures, as well as comply with OSHA and relevant local regulations.
  • Report and properly manage lost-and-found items according to company policies.
